No Good Deed Review

A thrilling movie about a homicidal murderer and narcissist, Idris Elba, played a vicious criminal who killed his victims who seem to irritate his murder senses.
The movie begins with a dark but lighted roadside with Collin (Idris Elba) traveling to his sentence hearing in a prisoner van heavily secured to the seat by handcuffs. When he got to his sentence hearing Collin thought he could get over by the judges with a bullshit statement of how he’s a changed man and how he is doing better by educating the other prisoners. He thought by showing them the good he has done over the past few years would outweigh his bad. The judges had to come to a consensus, but one man didn’t vote yes on this one. The guy was convinced that his statement was a piece of shit and voted no. Collin was then sentenced to remain incarcerated. During his transfer back to the prison Collin appeared to have a nose bleed. He asked for some tissue. The guard was reluctant to give it to him at first, but the driver convinced him otherwise. What do you think happens next? Collin was free by overpowering the guard and shooting both the guard and driver.
Like any human being who avoids their illegal freedom, Collin wants to finish his unfinished business. He found his Latin lover played by Kate del Castillo. Collin then observed her every move from the coffee shop to the house. Somehow he got into the house before her and noticed that all of his mail that he sent to her while in prison was unopened. Also, he found a note on her bed that he assumed must be her new lover. While discussing about her new love affair Collin became angry and choked her until she died. Idris played this very well by the body movement he displayed on camera. His movements were very precise and you could see him going for the big finish before he even did it. Collin’s reaction to after his killing displayed great control and precision. He was very still and displayed a deranged killer.
After that Collin set out to find the man that left the note by going to the address on the note. On his way, with a stolen vehicle, he got into a car accident. It happened by a flashback he had had happened earlier in his life possibly from the past murders he have committed. Close by, Taraji P. Henson, was catering to her children and tending to the house. Her husband was always working and he wasn’t enticed by her at all. He seemed very grossed out by her and wasn’t invested in their marriage at all.
Terri played by Taraji P Henson had a best friend named Meg. Meg was an active, single, and beautiful woman who lived life as an adventure. Meg valued Terri and their friendship. She also stated hoe Terri deserved better.
That night after the accident Collin stumbled upon the house. The scenery was very dark and rainy. The music conveyed that something was going to happen. Once Taraji opened the door for Idris the movie took you on a thrilling ride.
This movie is great for the couple going out on a date. One person will be screaming and freaking out, while the other one will keep quiet and comfort the person screaming like a bitch. No Good Deed displayed Taraji and Idris in a different way. We are all used to Taraji playing the ghetto chick who has a loud and bad mouth. Idris is used to playing the hot husband who we all want to crawl into bed with. This movie was totally different for them. It made me appreciate how actors can get out of their stasis mode and become active again.
